Monday, June 9, 2025 (Los Angeles, CA) – The Hollywood Creative Alliance is pleased to reveal the Honorary Awards recipients for the 2025 Astra TV Awards taking place on Tuesday, June 10th at the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills at 6:00 pm PST. Additionally, comedian Maxi Witrak will serve as host for this year’s festivities.
Actress Olivia Munn will be honored with this year’s Trailblazer Award, which recognizes individuals in the entertainment industry who use their platform to champion meaningful causes and advocate for change. “Olivia Munn’s dedication to helping others and raising awareness around vital issues makes her the perfect recipient of this year’s award,” says Astra head writer and producer Matthew Weiss.
Throughout her career, Olivia has demonstrated a deep commitment to philanthropy, lending her voice to campaigns such as DoSomething.org’s Green Your School Challenge, the Time’s Up and Me Too movements, and PETA’s fight against animal cruelty. She has also been a powerful advocate against anti-Asian hate, speaking out against harassment and violence targeting the AAPI community.
Most recently, Olivia’s candidness and strength in sharing her battle with breast cancer has been both courageous and deeply inspiring, touching the lives of thousands across the globe.
In addition to the Trailblazer Award, the Astras will be presenting five honorary awards at this year’s event. The 2025 Astra TV Awards Honorary Recipients are:
- David Alan Grier will be presented with the Actor Spotlight Award
- Melissa Rauch will be presented with the Actress Spotlight Award
- Saagar Shaikh will be presented with the Breakthrough Actor Spotlight Award
- Courtney Eaton will be presented with the Breakthrough Actress Spotlight Award
- Jennifer Morrison will be presented with the Director Spotlight Award
Lastly, the Hollywood Creative Alliance is proud to be reuniting with national nonprofit Petco Love to present Maggie Lawson, host of the Unconditional with Maggie Lawson Podcast with the Lovey Award. As the charitable partner, Petco Love will once again host a pet adoption event on-site during the Astra TV Awards and those in attendance can adopt a dog in need of a loving home.
This year’s ceremony will be recorded to air at a later date on the official HCA YouTube Channel and KNEKT.tv, which is available to download on Roku, Android, and Apple devices.
